My stay was truly delightful! The inn's charming historical decor, with beautiful antiques, added to the warm ambiance. Breakfast was a standout, especially the unique fried green tomatoes from the garden which I will remember fondly. Lynn and Jack made us feel like part of the family.
Could use a bit of maintenance.

great walking access to parks and downtown sights
I had a wonderful time soaking in the historic vibe at the inn, and enjoyed its prime proximity to downtown Roanoke, with popular spots like the Taubman Museum and the Civic Center just a 10-minute walk away, which made my weekend explorations easy, and I loved how Mill Mountain Park, with its breathtaking views, was only a short drive away, perfect for my nature fix after city strolls.

Limited choice of nearby restaurants for dining options. The age of the place shows with smaller beds and a need for better maintenance in areas like cleanliness and light bulbs in the room.

We had a wonderful family getaway at this charming inn! The spacious Deluxe Queen Room was cozy, and the kids loved playing in the beautiful garden while our three dogs were treated like part of the family. A nearby museum offered fun learning experiences for all of us.
My wife says that a kiddie play area would have made our stay perfect.

Had a great time with friends! The breakfast was delightful, and Lynn truly made our stay special by helping with a surprise cake for our friend. We also loved the proximity to hiking spots and museums—perfect for exploring! Highly recommend it for a fun getaway.
However, we found the guest room needed some upkeep, like a running toilet that disturbed our sleep.

We loved the spacious Deluxe King Room. The bed was super comfy, and we had a nice mountain view that made our stay feel extra cozy. The decor was charming and fit the historical vibe of the inn perfectly. Breakfast was decent but nothing to write home about. It could've used a little upgrade to match the room's quality.
